UPSSSC Junior Engineer (JE) is a position within the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission. Candidates who are selected for this position will be responsible for performing various engineering duties and tasks related to civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. This includes designing, constructing, and maintaining various types of infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures.

What is the difference between Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer?
The difference between Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer: Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer have many variations. Such as their pay scale, grade pay, and work responsibility.
Assistant Engineers tend to have more experience and are responsible for managing and supervising projects, while Junior Engineers tend to have less experience and are responsible for performing specific tasks and assisting in the execution of projects.
UPSSSC JE Selection Process
The UPSSSC JE selection process includes only a written examination. After qualifying this examination, the candidates report for document verification and finally, the selected candidates are appointed.

The pay scale of the selected candidates in the UPSSSC JE exam has set between Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 and additional grade pay of Rs 2000 will also be given.

UPSSSC JE Eligibility
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission conducts the Junior Engineer exam for many departments of the UP Government. So there are various eligibility & age limit criteria prescribed for the posts of all departments. which is as follows.
UPSSSC JE Age Limit
Only those candidates who are between 18 to 40 years of age can appear in this examination. But in many posts, the age limit has been set between 21 to 40 years. So, please check the official notification for more information.

Those candidates who hold diplomas in the relevant trade or its equivalent from a certified institute. Lastly, Any candidate who possesses the UPSSSC JE Eligibility can apply for the Upcoming Junior Engineer Exams.

UPSSSC JE Exam Pattern
UPSSSC selects the candidates through offline written exam test. So here I describe the Junior Engineer Written Exam Pattern. There is also a provision for deducting negative marks for each wrong answer in this exam, which will be 25% of the total.

General Hindi: Candidates are asked questions related to testing of knowledge of Hindi language, their understanding and writing ability under general Hindi. These questions are of the level of High School Examination of Secondary Education Council Uttar Pradesh.
General English: Candidates are asked questions related to testing of knowledge of the English language, their understanding, and writing ability under this Section. These questions are the level of High School Examination of Secondary Education Council Uttar Pradesh.
Part-II:
General Intelligence: the candidates have to measure their ability to understand new situations, and analyze and identify various facts and reasoning in this section. Therefore, understanding instructions, finding relationships, drawing conclusions, and other intellectual action based questions are asked in this section.
General Knowledge: In this Section, Candidates are asked questions related to general information about the environment and information about its use in society. therefore, In this section, questions related to current affairs, facts of everyday experience, including historical and geographical facts in the Indian context, as well as questions related to the knowledge of scientific aspects of the candidates.
General Computer Knowledge: Candidates are asked questions related to Peripheral Devices, Number Systems, Memory, Internet, Modem, Operating Systems, Language, MS Office, and Email under Computer Knowledge Section.
Paper-II:
Engineering: Candidates are asked questions related to their branch in this Paper.
